Irlam, near Manchester, was the place I lived for the first six years of my life. Today I visited the railway station having heard it had been significantly renovated. What a transformation! It looks fabulous. Had a wonderful lunch with my mum and uncle in the brilliantly designed ‘middle carriage’ (had to be a pie, didn’t it? 😂) and especially loved some of the signs 😂 Will definitely be back. Congratulations to all involved in the renovations and the lovely staff who looked after us 😄😄👏👏🚂🚂@TheStationIrlam

The Celebrity Express - Irlam now features on the blue bridge on Liverpool Road! The artwork on the bridge is complemented by some lovely lighting which really brightens up that stretch of road.
