The BBC had invited guest speakers to discuss the current economy.

Where did the past 20 years go!
On June 14th to the day, the HDT team invited guests to enjoy a party to mark 20 years of working together to support Irlam, Cadishead and Rixton-with-Glazebrook.

Last week Irlam Station hosted nursery children from Irlam Primary School.
They enjoyed learning about trains, looking at our drinking fountain, peeking inside the phone box, visiting the signal box and sitting with a snack and juice, watching the express train whizz past.
HDT’s Chair and Trustee Neil McArthur looks back on why he established the Trust in 2004.

This year HDT are celebrating 20yrs of supporting the communities of Irlam, Cadishead & RWG.
As well as the various community projects we will be involved in this year, we will be reflecting on some of our highlights from the last two decades.

Great chat today with a group of international cyclists taking on the epic 900+ journey from Lands End to John O'Groats.
They'd stopped for a well earned rest in the lay-by beside the Black Swan. We wish the group all the best and hope the rest of their journey goes well!
Today we have a number of activities going on at Hamilton Davies House in Cadishead, all based around #InternationalWomensDay

HDT’s IC Art programme is hosting a FREE exhibition at @TheStationIrlam of paintings by local artist Sean Sutherland.
The exhibition for Seans self taught work will be in the Station’s Cheshire Lines room. Drop in on the 10th or 11th March

Today, HDT alongside Imperative Training hosted a FREE defibrillator familiarisation course for members of the public.
The course went well, with 15 learners in attendance ready to broaden their knowledge on defibs, basic first aid training and handling such situations.

Xmas dates for your diaries!
Mon 12th December, the HDT Elves will be hosting their annual FREE coffee and cake morning at HDH.
On Wed 14th December, from 10am the HDT elves will be taking to Liverpool Rd on their trailer then at 6.30pm will be hosting Carols on Station Park

Local artist Rachelle alongside HDT, managed to produce this spectacular Heritage Map, depicting the Station and surrounding heritage trail and assets.

How good does the signal box at @TheStationIrlam look after a nice little makeover!
The entire signal box and surrounding perimeter fence has been repainted to brighten the whole area back up again!
