Venerable Buccaneer S1 here seen in trials colours.XV344 retired on Sept 28th 1994 at Boscombe Down, with a total of 2,894.30 hours. Very suitable for trials as distinct lack of power made them a liability for carrier ops.

Here's the Buccaneer which currently finds itself at the National Museum of Military History in Johannesburg, South Africa. Its often forgotten that the South African Air Force was the only other air arm to use this excellent strike aircraft.

I took a step back ,when I saw this very pink Buccaneer at Elvington a few years ago.😉Today I found a small 5x4 print of a pair shot at Alconbury in 1991 in original scheme. Still they had a go for the best reasons and they brightened up my day anyway...😉👍
