I try to be physically affectionate with Fave all the time. Even if we’re just hanging on the couch, my hand or leg is on her or vice versa. I love touch and I don’t want her to grow up adverse to it

Yes, their hugs are normal. My mom wasn’t very affectionate when I was young, so I was not...except w/my kids. My daughter is SUPER affectionate, & I think it’s bc I nursed her for 2 yrs as a SAHM & hugged/kissed my kids a lot. My 12yo will reach for my hand no matter what.
