Being pro-Palestine is good politics and good policy.
As we wait for more election results, we already know we have a strong slate heading to the Congress to fight for an end to US complicity in apartheid and genocide.
The tides are shifting. Stop Arming Israel. Free Palestine.

Abdul winning is a resounding rejection of brazen bigotry, AIPAC lies and corporate blood money. The powerful message of inclusion it sends across the nation cannot be overstated. In the darkness of burgeoning fascism in America, it’s a beaming light of hope. Thank you, Michigan!
Trump dropping this on Election Day is not a coincidence.
The context that’s missing is that Netanyahu wants this because it hides U.S. funding under a different name to quiet public criticism, while actually deepening military ties.
President Trump says the US is cutting off $4 billion in aid to Israel at the end of the year because "they don't need it."

The bottom fell out for the GOP across the Deep South. Trump backlash and post-Callais anger drove Black turnout to presidential levels as white turnout fell.

As much as the Iran war is the key reason Trump and the GOP were crushed tonight, it is important to recognize that the pressure for war is now likely to increase.
This does not mean that Trump will restart the war. But the balance of pressure for and against war will likely favor escalation.
Trump was under a degree of pressure to strike a deal before the midterms, hoping to soften the blow in the polls. But now that the midterms are over, that pressure will dissipate somewhat. Gas prices are still high, but the political cost has already been paid. There won’t be another point on the political calendar for some time when that cost can be exacted again.
But two other factors will intensify.

They’re actually still not happy because they sacrificed everything for an Iran War whose outcome they also happen to be deeply disappointed with. It was all for nothing.

Trump privately questioned how Republicans had fallen into such dire political trouble as his party headed toward a crushing midterm defeat, according to CNN interviews with more than a dozen Trump aides, advisers and GOP operatives.
During an October campaign rally, Trump reportedly asked a close associate, “How did we get here?” One person familiar with the exchange said the president kept raising the question as he traveled across the country to rescue struggling Republican candidates.
Insiders blamed Trump's decision to launch the Iran war, which derailed months of election planning and triggered an economic backlash.
“There are a lot of people who don’t know why we needed to do this,” one Trump adviser said, describing the party's preparations as “obsolete.” Another ally warned that the White House had “underestimated the backlash in the base.”
Republican officials also criticized Trump's dismissal of affordability concerns, weak candidate selections and delayed campaign spending, with one strategist concluding: “Honestly, there’s just one person to blame.”
