It has been exactly 1 year since the VP of the CJEU ordered Poland to suspend provisions on the Disciplinary Chamber and sanctions for questioning the status of other judges (C-204/21 R). As Poland refused to comply, the daily penalty payments have so far reached 253 mln EUR.
