One of my favorite things @HortonsCreekES PLCs get to do is record small segments of team members’ instruction and then reflect on T and S moves to improve instruction for all.
This requires no small amount of vulnerability and trust! #hawksdoitdifferent

Our students rocked our Basic Economics Unit in Social Studies today! They created a store with a partner where they offered goods and services and then "shopped" at other classmates' stores.#FutureBusinessLeaders @MsKim_First @HortonsCreekES

As a woman of color & part of the AAPI fam, I am still more afraid of others than I am of Covid. Because to some it might be "just a virus" but to me, it is a reason for them to hate, de-humanize, &hurt me. I stand with our communities of color. We shouldn't have to live in fear.
We stand in mourning and in solidarity with Buffalo and with Black people everywhere.
Hate incidents harm Black, indigenous, and communities of color in multiple ways. It is essential for us to stand together.

In Korean, the phrase Black Lives Matter translates to Black Lives Are Precious. You more than matter. You are more than worthy of protection. Black lives are beloved, cherished, dignified, and made in the Image Divine. #BlackHistoryMonth
