Sometimes I need to remind myself I have zero, nada, no control over what kids do & say. That said, I always control how I respond to what they do & say. I also need to remind myself this is not easy & it is ok to apologize. #thatonekid

Teachers,
During these times, please remember that we’re the piece that holds so many others together. During war, pandemics, natural disasters, and everything else, our job is to teach and to love, while our students continue to learn and grow.
We got this. #TeacherStrong – at Chicago, IL

I frequently hear teachers talk about kids not doing “the work.” The work the work the work. Stop caring about the work... Care only about what they learn from the work. I’ve seen many kids doing tons of work & learning zero from it. #edchat #tlap #KidsDeserveIt #thatonekid
