During the beatification we talked about spaces that feel dry for American Catholics, the daily minutiae times. He said “thats when you just be a normal Catholic?” It was an oddly profound observation to me.
When communist authorities seized their churches as state property, Catholics and Orthodox stood together, praying through the night to defend them.

My 5 year old is crying because her STEM teacher told her unicorns aren’t real and she’s wanted to pet one for years. Inconsolable. I’ve told her they might still be around in Scotland since it’s their official animal.
Any Scots out there to confirm the unicorns are still real?
