Im in Munich for a meeting, surfing, and a beer at the October fest.
Thousands of people everywhere, stands full of thousands of people enjoying and drinking beers.
Guess how many people wears a mask?
This is why whatever I do or I say, mask will change nothing on the bigger scenario.
Have a nice day, time to rest for me now

Yup, I’m done. My reporting career has gone from telegrams to the age of AI. It will only pace up from here, but that’s for the next generation. And they’re committed and bright. Good luck. Farewell. smh.com.au/national/tears-tr…

Wow, what kind of “medical expert” takes an unsolicited photograph of a elderly person/patient, posts it on the internet with the sole purpose of mocking them publicly to 7.3M people for chosing to protect their health whilst travelling during another COVID wave? Reported ✅

The COVID-conscious are right because their position is built on the four most robust findings in the SARS-CoV-2 literature: silent transmission, asymptomatic organ damage, compounding reinfection risk, and massive societal cost. The burden of proof now rests on those who claim infection is harmless, not on those who take precautions.

This is so interesting. I'll need to think carefully about how to make this happen. If I make a double-sized 4Lite with a feature that tracks a person's nose, it could ensure the nose stays within the clean air zone when placed on a desktop. I'd also add a distance sensor and an indicator light—when the distance exceeds the effective range, it turns red; otherwise, it turns green. This would be an extremely powerful air purifier.

The science does not support that the pandemic is over, nor that repeat infection is benign. The evidence is vast, consistent, and only points the other way.
There is no shortage of data - only a refusal to reconcile with it.

And so, we're all like parakeets in a cage. Our governments threw a blanket over our enclosure and told us its dark, and most of us believe it because that's what they see. The desire to conform is so overwhelming.
For what it's worth, I've personally been witness to(in rooms) of a Dr on here. I can tell you. No idea. Asked my husband to unmask to 'check his throat' I panicked but too late. Aranet was reading 1700ppm, despite a modest Hepa in the corner which he pointed to for reassurance.

H5 bird flu is spreading, with the first confirmed mammal death and serious risks for vulnerable species including Australian sea lions.
The sea lions are already endangered and are now at risk of being wiped out.
Govt should must commit $200m over 2 years if we are going to save sea lions and other vulnerable species.

Two PJ.2.1 also just appeared in Singapore today as well. Collection dates both August 14, so this saltation variant has officially crossed both oceans.
According to Federico Geuli on BSky
"New PJ.2.1 sample found in UK. Not on Gisaid, it is accesible (sic) on cov-spectrum. Collected on July 28."
It's made it across the Atlantic.
