Phase one completes this week. Not what I expected, but God gave us exactly what we needed, and more. My ultimate mission is to be with my family full time, but I’m currently farther away than I’ve ever been. The next phase is unwinding that paradigm and burning the boats.

Having kids is so wonderful. They just randomly look at the sidewalk and jump as big as possible. Everything’s so whimsical. Their imaginations are amazing. I should be more like them.

I have no idea what a burrito cost but my grocery total was $323 for 4 days of food for my family of 4. Staples & ingredients for 2-4 dinners. My husband keeps telling me to accept it, but honestly I can’t. Every time I go to the store I am completely blown away by the total.

I saw this today in the great burrito debate: Chicken per pound 2006 - $1.05 2026 - $2.05 Increase: +95% I’m just curious what kind and where are people getting chicken for $2.05 per pound. Yesterday I paid $8.99/lb and some cuts were $11.99.
