RUSSIAN DEFENSES REPORTEDLY BREACHED AS UKRAINE CROSSES THE DNIPRO 🇺🇦🇷🇺 Ukrainian forces have reportedly crossed the Dnipro River and liberated Dachi, a settlement on the Russian-occupied bank directly opposite the city of Kherson. If confirmed, the operation would mark a significant local tactical success, with Ukrainian troops establishing a presence across one of the most challenging natural obstacles along the southern front. The reported liberation of Dachi would also put renewed pressure on Russian positions opposite Kherson, although the scale of the Ukrainian force, the extent of territorial control and whether the positions can be sustained remain unclear. Crossing the river is one challenge. Holding territory on the opposite bank, maintaining supply lines and resisting Russian counterattacks are considerably more difficult.
