Missing Marty Feldman Sketch Film is Fabulous! team recently found a missing comedy sketch entitled:‘Egyptian Statues’.
It’s from series 1, ep 4, of ‘Marty’, starring Marty Feldman. An audio recording existed, BBC Archives did not hold a copy of visuals. This has now rectified
My favourite thing so far today 🤣
I'm watching the French dub version of 'Daleks – Invasion Earth: 2150 AD'. In some scenes, they seem to have added far too little modulation to the Dalek voices - so they're just angry, shouty Frenchmen! #DoctorWho

Returning Films to BBC Archives
Members of the Film is Fabulous! board of trustees were delighted to visit BBC Broadcast Centre in London yesterday.
Such nostalgia! I watched these clips repeatedly on video at the time. Having access to the episodes themselves seemed only a pipe dream…
BBC celebrated Golden Anniversary of its television service in 1986.
"That's Television Entertainment" on BBC1 Sat 01 Nov '86 contained this medley of clips from #DoctorWho.
Bear in mind we couldn't watch vast majority of these episodes at the time.

Superior Condition Film Prints
Finding lost material on film is a by product of the work Film is Fabulous! undertake. Recently, missing episodes of Doctor Who, and The Morecambe and Wise Show, have been recovered. This is only a small part of the work being done.
Time is ticking, people. If you're wavering, get on in there while you still can - I'm sure it will be well worth it!
