I see you, I hear you, I love you, I’m with you. What do you want to build, bash and beautify together?

Looking forward to seeing many of you at Deeper Learning!

Learning is so beautiful. Tracking students by perceived ability…not so beautiful.
I’m glad my children attend @hightechhigh where students learn with each other + from each other + tracking is not allowed.

I had a transformative day
with @MrStrong3rd @brianvdelgado & @bluedotandrew “The more you go outward the more you see inward” and “You can’t cage the wind” I could go on. Writing poetry inspired by #nature and absorbing their every word. Thank you doesn’t seem like enough.

#DeeperLearning was incredible! Getting a tour through @hightechhigh from Larry Rosenstock & @LeneJensbyLange, Joyzistance with @kalebrashad & @NikkiHinostro of @hthgse, making socks with @MrStrong3rd of @bluedot_ed, & @bigpiclearning Leadership Journeys were unforgettable! #DL24
Just listened to @CollegeBoard PR talk about the new online #SAT.

What a day…
3rd graders from Blanche Charles Elementary + a giant spined sea star. Look at that cheesy smile 😊

How might exploring outward help us learn inward?
Nice coffee + designing w/@brianvdelgado + @bluedotandrew

The ocean isn’t racist.
The forest isn’t a homophobe.
The sky isn’t taking bribes.
The foundation of place-based learning might be the shedding of messed up systems.

Doesn't feel like some innovative thing these days. Feels like a good friend we moved away from to chase the bright lights in the big city.

Just did an informal audit of the #SXSWEDU programming. Over 20 session titles mention AI. Only one mentions Soul. Educators, make sure you attend that one. schedule.sxswedu.com/2024/ev…
