Kinda cool that rock art like this was authentically used to express a range of activity over time from "I saw a saber toothed tiger" to "I served in His Royal Majesty's Navy"
The 23 ships depicted in rock art at one site in Australia are European-built vessels, but they were painted by Aboriginal people. The artists clearly knew the details of the boats—because, very likely, some had served as crewmembers.
