This won't help shared owners. How many have already lost their "affordable" homes because they could no longer afford the rent, mortgage and service charges, and couldn't sell? How many more will be homeless by the end of this Parliament?

Any of my leasehold/cladding followers know anyone who’s sold flat at a loss recently who’d be willing to talk - for today’s BBC News coverage of falling house prices - we want to illustrate that that’s mainly due to plummeting flat prices caused by leasehold/building safety.

Two leasehold flats in the same building. Image one, sold in 2017, £350,000, just a 1 bed. Image two, £315,000, FOR A 2 BED, nearly 10 years later. 10% cheaper than a 1 bed sold for 10 years prior - leasehold is in free fall.
