Amityville in Space (2022)
Currently streaming on Tubi in the USA and Canada

The long-running franchise goes to the only logical location, the final frontier, in this slapdash bit of silliness. It's easily my third or fourth favorite Polonia film of the SEVEN that came out in 2022!

Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie (2023)
Currently streaming on AppleTV

A heartfelt and honest autobiographical documentary on the journey of a beloved actor. I enjoyed Fox's stories and candor. Great doc.

Fun movie fact of the day:
In the OG Lord of the Flies film, Hugh Edwards who played Piggy in the 1963 classic got the role by sending the director a letter in the mail that only had one sentence.
"Dear Sir, I am fat and wear spectacles." It delighted the director so much that Hugh got the role 😆

Deathstalker (2025)
Steaming on AMC+/Shudder as of today
Whether spoofy or sincere (cases can be made for both), this remake is a fun ride of bloody, goopy, practical effects, puppetry, and stop-motion. I appreciated the hell out of the effort made on the budget.
I mean ANY film would've seemed fantastic after watching Pizza Movie, but this was genuinely a blast
B+

In The Octagon (1980) Chuck Norris single-handedly started the ASMR trend. It's also a mighty fun piece of action schlock.
