At over two hours it may run a bit longer than it should but Not Without Hope (2025) is still an involving and grueling based on real life tragedy film.
Far from a great film, but their heart was in the right place.

The buzz phrase 'One for the fans' is overused, but it completely applies to Caroushell 4 which plays out like a kind of Greatest Hits package (Not greatest hits like Jackass: Best and Last, this ain't no clip show at all)
Newbies will be at a loss for words, but those of us who have seen every previous film will relish in the blood-soaked shenanigans as Duke and Robbie go on a cabin retreat where they face their past...and future
Many fun references to other films and the ending is glorious 😂

This is solid for an opening weekend considering the movie has one lead in Brad Pitt. Let’s not kid ourselves: movie stars are rarely why people go to the theater.

I had fun with Buzzkill (2026) the newest Tubi Original horror comedy by Jem Garrard the maker of such Tubi gems as R.L. Stine's Pumpkinhead and the Invasive films.
The conceit of a girl who only remembers who offed her best friend when she's inebriated is just funny to me.
Drunk Nora would've made a fantastic (DCU-coded) Supergirl 😂
