We rave about giants like Newton, Einstein, Bohr, Tesla, and Edison. But in terms of direct impact on our lives in the information age, nobody comes close to Claude Shannon. In 1948, he dropped a straight 10/10 paper: A Mathematical Theory of Communication. His work has imbued us with the ability to send whispers across continents. The paper doesn’t just suggest techniques, it draws the boundaries of reality for information... how far compression can go (entropy), the maximum rate a noisy channel can carry reliably (capacity), and why error correction isn’t optional if you want those whispers to arrive intact.

AnchorChain is something I’ve been developing quietly — a small system built to fix one of AI’s most fundamental flaws: it doesn’t remember truthfully. Every LLM, every vector database, every retrieval system rewrites itself as it grows. Memory mutates, embeddings drift, histories are overwritten. You can’t prove what an AI knew yesterday. You can’t even verify whether a model’s “knowledge” is authentic or post hoc reconstruction. That’s not intelligence. That’s epistemic entropy. AnchorChain changes that. It anchors AI memory states to an immutable ledger. Every embedding, every context vector, every update is hashed, structured into a Merkle tree, and committed to the Bitcoin SV chain. The result is a permanent, cryptographically verifiable proof of what the AI knew, when it knew it, and how that knowledge evolved. We’re talking real numbers. The BSV network now sustains 4 million transactions per second. Each AnchorChain commit can encapsulate 2³² entries in a 32-depth Merkle structure. That’s 4.29 billion memory records per anchor — about 1.7 × 10¹⁶ verifiable states per second. That’s not theoretical scale; it’s the practical bandwidth of truth. This system isn’t federated or centralised. Each node, each agent, each model instance can anchor independently. It’s a distributed architecture that preserves autonomy while providing global integrity. You don’t need a central curator or aggregator. You need proof — and that proof now exists. In AI, reproducibility isn’t a luxury. It’s survival. Scientific inference, legal evidence, and machine accountability all depend on verifiable state continuity. AnchorChain makes that possible. Immutable memory. Deterministic recall. Forensic traceability. I’ve been testing it in multi-agent environments — embedding pipelines, LangChain-based frameworks, distributed LLM clusters. Every memory write becomes a proof. Every recall event can be audited. Every output can be traced to a verifiable internal state. AI that lies about its own history is finished. AI that proves its own memory becomes infrastructure. This isn’t another blockchain gimmick. It’s reliability engineering for cognition. It’s the missing layer of accountability that bridges computation and law, science and memory, action and proof. That’s what AnchorChain is. A memory system that can’t lie. #AnchorChain #AIIntegrity #BitcoinSV #MerkleProof #DigitalForensics #DataLineage #ImmutableMemory #DistributedSystems #BSV #AIReproducibility

Hyperinflation is fueling the growth of stablecoins as citizens in a growing number of countries lose faith in local currencies but can’t access actual dollars. The U.S. government has said dollar-denominated stablecoins will help preserve the dollar’s role as the global reserve currency. That’s in spite of decreasing faith in America’s ability to honour its long-term debts but also due to the lack of a credible dollar alternative. The BRICS club may be growing but so long as China and Russia are two of its biggest components, the rest of the world isn’t going to build its financial houses on those uncertain foundations. Some nations with failing currencies restrict access to real dollars but blockchains don’t always recognize borders. Venezuela is begrudgingly allowing the use of dollar-denominated stablecoins because U.S. sanctions are limiting inflows of hard currencies. Some countries could soon face a choice of whether to join the nations that already use the dollar as their own currency, or at least accept the dollar alongside their national currency. And if they wait too long, their frustrated citizens might make that choice for them. Stablecoins are the least ‘crypto’ thing in ‘crypto’ and are achieving significant adoption in mainstream finance precisely due to their non-speculative nature. Proof that rollercoasters belong in amusement parks, not on balance sheets (corporate or personal).

I've been keeping about $100 worth of BSV in our open source wallets, personally, but if you're holding much more than that, you should absolutely use tools specifically designed long term holding.
From our perspective you should never need more than $20 worth of BSV in any wallet because that's plenty of satoshis to do everything you need—Any more than that is reckless and none of our software is designed for it. Just want to make that very clear, from the very beginning.

Yes, Terranode has taken longer than it should have. Longer than I wanted it to. The roots stretch back to 2012, when the first outlines were drawn and the first obstacles revealed themselves. By 2014 it had evolved into iDemon, and from there into a chain of prototypes and experiments, each step confronting problems no one else was even willing to imagine, until finally the framework we now call Terranode emerged. And yes—it has been years. Five, six, more than I predicted. Four more than I thought it would take. Because the work is hard. Not difficult in the sense that it requires time and tinkering, but hard in the way stone resists the chisel and steel resists the hammer. Scaling at this level is a frontier of engineering, not a slogan to be printed on T-shirts. Those who dismiss the delays as failure have never stood in the arena of actual creation. This is why I insisted the code be opened, exposed, pushed into daylight. If it can be attacked, let it be attacked—that is the only way to prove its strength. Anything that cannot survive scrutiny is already dead. And that is precisely why the Terranode repository had to exist, why it had to face the fire of criticism, and why it had to endure. For this reason I hold enormous respect for the team. Not just the current builders, who have carried this project with resilience, but also the engineers who laid the groundwork years ago, back in Australia, when the idea of global-scale Bitcoin seemed delusional to most. The present Terranode team are remarkable. What they have achieved is remarkable. And no matter how long it has taken, the result is something more than vapour, more than promises. It is substance, and it was earned the only way that matters—through sweat, failure, persistence, and the refusal to quit. @___siggi___
guys i feel sick... The Galaxy README promises an ultra‑high‑performance BSV node with full consensus, SPV proofs, Tiger Beetle UTXO storage, torrent‑based distribution, sharding, merchant API, and more. The current code largely provides skeleton (fake/incomplete) implementations. Many services contain placeholder logic or return hardcoded success values. Critical components—true P2P networking, consensus rules, UTXO persistence, SPV proof logic, torrent incentives, merchant callbacks—are not fully realized. Reliance on a test configuration baked into binaries limits real-world deployment. As a community we must not over-promise. It's possible that Roy's heart is in the right place, but — as with the "Rust smart contract framework" this Galaxy system is not currently workable. Few know Rust so few would be able to call this out. Inevitably Roy and possibly others will try and push back. But from one technical mind to another... unfortunately there is only one term for this: vaporware. This really hurts our reputation and our ecosystem especially if we don't call it out. So here I am. I do not take this lightly or enjoy this. It makes my heart sad, and I like so many others wanted to believe this was real. We must build a mature, honest ecosystem. We must never over-promise or mislead people. We must stay grounded and humble. The truth most people never acknowledge is that true research and development is not glamorous, takes tons of time, and often ends in failure. There are many who work tirelessly in organizations like @BSVAssociation to do this work, and boots-on-the-ground grow this network. They deserve FAR more credit, for Teranode and for everything else they do. I, for one, would not be here without them. They built this ecosystem and they deserve YOUR respect, if you're in favor of a more honest world. You can learn about the real progress being made by checking docs.bsvblockchain.org, metanetacademy.com, and bitgenius.net. Galaxy evidence in the thread. 💔

You’d think Core would want me to be Satoshi, wouldn’t you? It would give their narrative some stability, a little anchor in reality, but no—they’re too busy flailing in fear of the idea. I’m not here to say I am or I’m not. Why would I? Core has turned that into a religion of denial, as if chanting their own dogma loudly enough makes them custodians of truth. But here’s the unavoidable, inconvenient point: if I’m not Satoshi, then that means I’m more technically capable than all of them put together. Every single one. And I don’t even have to try. On my worst day, when I’m tired, distracted, and not even giving a fraction of my focus, I can build or solve things they still believe are impossible. Meanwhile, they spin around, throwing out talismanic buzzwords like “decentralized” as if it were some holy incantation. They don’t understand what the word means—never did. Or worse, they understand and deliberately misrepresent it, dressing up incompetence as philosophy. They’ve taken a system designed for precision and engineering and reduced it to the hollow marketing of ideology. It’s not about building anything anymore. It’s about making noise, passing off empty abstractions as if they were the foundation of a working system. And that’s why I’ll say this again: if they truly believe I’m not Satoshi, they should be more afraid. Because if I’m not, then it means they’ve been beaten, soundly and thoroughly, by someone they can’t even comprehend.
