"For thus saith the Lord God: Behold I myself will seek my sheep, and will visit them. As the shepherd visiteth his flock in the day when he shall be in the midst of his sheep that were scattered, so will I visit my sheep, and will deliver them out of all the places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. And I will bring them out from the peoples, and will gather them out of the countries, and will bring them to their own land: and I will feed them in the mountains of Israel, by the rivers, and in all the habitations of the land. I will feed them in the most fruitful pastures, and their pastures shall be in the high mountains of Israel: there shall they rest on the green grass, and be fed in fat pastures upon the mountains of Israel. I will feed my sheep: and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God. I will seek that which was lost: and that which was driven away, I will bring again: and I will bind up that which was broken, and I will strengthen that which was weak, and that which was fat and strong I will preserve: and I will feed them in judgment." CMRI Supporter Blatantly Denies Defined Dogma In this clip a CMRI supporter blatantly denies the Catholic Church’s defined dogma on salvation. He explicitly states that they’re not saying that all Buddhists, Muslims and Hindus are damned and that “we don’t know” if such people are saved. Well, the Church has already settled this issue. It has dogmatically defined that all who die as Buddhists, Muslims and Hindus (i.e. as pagans) are lost (Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, “Cantate Domino”) and that the Catholic faith is required for salvation. People like him are simply not Catholic, even though they purport to be staunch traditionalists when they aren’t. This is also why such heretical groups (and the heretical rogue priests who lead them into heresy) have such an animosity toward true Catholics who actually believe in the Church’s teaching on salvation and baptism. “The Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that all those who are outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans but also Jews or heretics and schismatics, cannot share in eternal life and will go into the everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless they are joined to the Church before the end of their lives and that nobody can be saved, no matter how much he has given away in alms and even if he has shed blood in the name of Christ, unless he has persevered in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.” (Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, “Cantate Domino”, 1441)

Baptized in "the cloud and in the sea", of 1 Corinthians 10, writing of the Old Testament parallels John 3:5 in the New testament. "Jesus answered: Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." [John 3:5] "For I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea. And all in Moses were baptized, in the cloud, and in the sea: And did all eat the same spiritual food, And all drank the same spiritual drink; (and they drank of the spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.) But with most of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the desert." [Footnote from the Douay Rheims] "In Moses": Under the conduct of Moses, they received baptism in figure, by passing under the cloud, and through the sea; and they partook of the body and blood of Christ in figure, by eating of the manna, (called here a spiritual food because it was a figure of the true bread which comes down from heaven,) and drinking the water, miraculously brought out of the rock, called here a spiritual rock, because it was also a figure of Christ. "Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil by good." [Romans 12:21] This doesn't mean to be soft against lies, and sin... rather, think of it in terms of overcoming lies with Truth! A great way to do this is to share the Catholic Faith via VaticanCatholic.com with everyone you can!

16th Century Theologian: Pope St. Siricius & St. Gregory Nazianzen Rejected “Baptism Of Desire” Fr. Juan de Maldonado was a Spanish Jesuit theologian who died in 1583.  He admitted that Pope St. Siricius and important Church father St. Gregory Nazianzen (who is named the Theologian) rejected “baptism of desire”.  The fact that they rejected “baptism of desire” is obvious to any honest person who reads what Pope St. Siricius and St. Gregory actually wrote on the matter.  However, many John 3:5 mockers are so dishonest that they won’t even admit that Pope St. Siricius and St. Gregory the Theologian denied “baptism of desire”.  Hence, a statement from a theologian who acknowledged this is noteworthy.  Note that Maldonado presumes that the aforementioned individuals believed that martyrdom could replace baptism, but there’s no proof for his assertion and his statement on this point can be disregarded.  The Church’s teaching demonstrates that all the martyrs in Heaven received the Sacrament of  Baptism (see Pope Benedict XII, Benedictus Deus) and that no one is saved without rebirth of water and the Spirit.  See our video: 2,000 Years Of Infallible Papal Teaching On Baptism’s Absolute Necessity. Fr. Juan Maldonado, Opera varia theologica, Vol. 1, 1677 (De Baptismo, Q. 4), p. 59: “Among the ancients there were some who insisted on baptism itself so strictly that they thought everyone perished who died either unbaptized or not by a martyr’s death.  Of this opinion was the author of the book On Ecclesiastical Doctrines, chapter 74: ‘We do not believe that a catechumen has life, even if he died in good works.’  So also Pope [Siricius] in his letter to the bishop of Tarragona, and Gregory of Nazianzus in the oration on holy baptism [Oration 40].” Also, it wasn’t just Pope St. Siricius (in his decree to Himerius) and St. Gregory the Theologian who rejected “baptism of desire”.  The early Church itself did, as we showed in the aforementioned video by citing Pope St. Leo the Great, Pope St. Zosimus, and more.

Excerpt from the Catholic Encyclopedia: "The word Ichthys, then, as well as the representation of a fish, held for Christians a meaning of the highest significance; it was a brief profession of faith in the divinity of Christ, the Redeemer of mankind. Believers in this mystic Ichthys were themselves "little fishes", according to the well-known passage of Tertullian (On Baptism 1): "we, little fishes, after the image of our Ichthys, Jesus Christ, are born in the water"." 2,000 Years Of Infallible Papal Teaching On Baptism’s Absolute Necessity youtu.be/fiqFGpEr9Ug

"After this there went a man of the house of Levi; and took a wife of his own kindred. And she conceived, and bore a son; and seeing him a goodly child hid him three months. And when she could hide him no longer, she took a basket made of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and pitch: and put the little babe therein, and laid him in the sedges by the river's brink, His sister standing afar off, and taking notice what would be done. And behold the daughter of Pharao came down to wash herself in the river: and her maids walked by the river's brink. And when she saw the basket in the sedges, she sent one of her maids for it: and when it was brought, she opened it and seeing within it an infant crying, having compassion on it she said: This is one of the babes of the Hebrews. And the child's sister said to her Shall I go and call to thee a Hebrew woman, to nurse the babe? She answered: Go. The maid went and called her mother. And Pharao's daughter said to her. Take this child and nurse him for me: I will give thee thy wages. The woman took, and nursed the child: and when he was grown up, she delivered him to Pharao's daughter. And she adopted him for a son, and called him Moses, saying: Because I took him out of the water." [Exodus 2:1-10] The Council Of Trent Did Not Teach "Baptism Of Desire" youtu.be/saIdeXKzvrk?list=PL…

If God built the earth, "founded upon the seas", then why should it be surprising that he also builds the spiritual life on the waters of Baptism? "The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof: the world, and all they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas; and hath prepared it upon the rivers." Excerpt from the "Ascent of Mt Carmel": "And who drinks not, either little or much, from this golden chalice of the Babylonian woman of the Apocalypse? She seats herself on that great beast, that had seven heads and ten crowns, signifying that there is scarce any man, whether high or low, saint or sinner, who comes not to drink of her wine, to some extent enslaving his heart thereby, for, as is said of her in that place, all the kings of the earth have become drunken with the wine of her prostitution. And she seizes upon all estates of men, even upon the highest and noblest estate -- the service of the sanctuary and the Divine priesthood -- setting her abominable cup, as Daniel says, in the holy place, and leaving scarcely a single strong man without making him to drink, either little or much, from the wine of this chalice, which is vain rejoicing. For this reason it is said that all the kings of the earth have become drunken with this wine, for very few will be found, however holy they may have been, that have not been to some extent stupefied and bewildered by this draught of the joy and pleasure of natural graces and beauty." Epistle for the Feast of St. Raphael: Lesson from the book of Tobias Tob 12:7-15 In those days, the Angel Raphael said to Tobias: It is good to hide the secret of a king: but honorable to reveal and confess the works of God. Prayer is good with fasting and alms, more than to lay up treasures of gold: for alms delivers from death, and the same is that which purges away sins, and makes to find mercy and life everlasting. But they who commit sin and iniquity are enemies to their own soul. I discover then the truth to you, and I will not hide the secret from you. When you prayed with tears, and buried the dead, and left your dinner, and hid the dead by day in your house, and buried them by night, I offered your prayer to the Lord. And because you were acceptable to God, it was necessary that temptation should prove you. And now the Lord has sent me to heal you, and to deliver Sara your son’s wife from the devil. For I am the angel Raphael, one of the seven who stand before the Lord. ℟. Thanks be to God. Visit VaticanCatholic.com

You really have no idea what you are talking about. This video covers in detail the shocking things that John Paul II said about Assisi and the (false) religions that were represented there. By defending the abomination of Assisi, you implicate yourself in mortal sin and idolatry. John Paul II blasphemously taught that all the pagans and idol worshippers at Assisi actually worshipped God and that their prayer was necessary and inspired by the Holy Spirit. You are heretical and totally deceived. xitter.cf/mhfmvc/status/21053612…
