The roar at full time! Champions after 22 years feels so good! I hope my brother is looking down smiling. He'd have loved this! Hiren, Arsenal won the league!!
Got tickets for Dune 3 at the BFI Imax over Christmas! We may not be in the middle, but at least we are not at the front!
There are people on twitter who just want to know what is in the bag. Adverts targetting people who want to know what is in the bag. And the big question is, what is in the bag? And why are people who do not care what is in the bag getting adverts for it and the mystery within?
I like that if you want to see a film on a really really big screen in London you have to navigate a series of pissy blue labyrinthine tunnels where you maybe attacked by some Droogs.
Its 21 degrees in October because of this bullshit! At least the Dinosaurs were made extinct by a massive meteor they couldn't control. I'm going to die because some prick wanted a Tyranosarus Rex doing Yamal tricks in a video.
This is great news!

Anyone else notice that the last few popes have been top tier popes, like good dudes, and they are all being struck down with illnesses when they stand for what is right and good. Now that's a conspiracy theory all of my own invention. Someone is killing popes!
Pope Leo XIV has been diagnosed with lung cancer, the Vatican confirms.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Important context: The cancer was detected at an early stage and was surgically removed. Doctors anticipate a very good prognosis for Pope Leo XIV’s recovery.

Pontius Pilates? Fifth governor of the Roman province of Judaea, and man who ordered the crucifixion of Jesus?!
Stop motion animation is possibly my favourite art form. I'm so glad Laika exist, and I hope this film does amazingly. Take your kids and adults to watch it.
“Wildwood” is a rapturous experience because we can see and, in the process, feel the artists’ passion for every aspect of the film. It proves art cannot exist, and certainly cannot matter, without the effort it takes to create it.
In an age where, with the advent of AI, some people think the point of art is the end product, the handmade and challenging nature of stop motion marvel "Wildwood" is a breath of fresh air.

We used to lick more stuff in the past. Like in th 1980s, you'd be licking envelopes and stamps. Sending your saliva through the post. I'm glad society got together and agreed that was rank.
I dunno man, it might be worth taking the advice of the world's greatest living mathematician. Or at least listen to him before you discount his opinion because of a spurious analogy, and I say that as someone who lost a loved one to stage 4 cancer recently.
Brad Bird making Ray Gun, the Incredibles, Ratatouille...and then you add The Iron Giant to that list. All time great animator who will have inspired generations with his storytelling.
When I feel utterly demoralised and defeated about how my novel submission is going, I think about posts like this, where you have to stay true to yourself and the art you want to make. I will keep writing the stories I want to see and read, and eventually it will work out.
I'm sorry to be rude about a woman's appearance, but every photo of Susan Dell reminds me of Fuchi the Fashion Model by Junji Ito. Nightmare fuel.
I'm beginning to get the feeling Emily Wilson isn't a very nice person.
Emily Wilson compared Anne Carson to Rupi Kaur.
"Be Canadian. Be zany. Be moody. Be relatable. Write about your mother. Write about desire. Write about trauma. Write about loneliness. Write about grief. Write about nature. Write about the body. Invoke universals. Make it mythic. Tell it slant. Do not use rhyme. Do not use meter. Use short lines. Leave a lot of space on the page. Juxtapose your words with quivery line drawings in ink or paint or collage."
I have a feeling, Wilson won't be invited to the Nobel ceremony.
