I am suggesting that every professional poker player makes more than he would as a laborer, especially if we assume it is labor that doesn’t require an extremely expense education.

I have literally never watched either of them
Yeah, Jim Simons pioneered modern quantitive analysis on markets and his background that allowed him to do so was cryptography.

1. Playing poker does, taking their money doesn’t. In fact if anything losing money is more likely to make them regret it
2. It’s just trying to predict what people what inside information are doing by deciphering their masked trades

I don’t even watch these tv hosts. You’re saying I prove a point for not sucking up to the Epstein administration and the Dershowitz Post?

Slave owners of the antebellum south raped the enslaved and had kids by them but that somehow did not abolish racism or racial identity in America
I’m sorry but you sound like and quite possibly are an idiot
He was such a gentle guy with how he responded to insanity. In his letters there is a response to a man arguing that ghosts can only be male and Spinoza just shows sincere politeness in how he says I don’t think ghosts are a thing and this conjecture seems unlikely anyway.

It’s pretty mild in response to the Jewish community declaring Spinoza to his face that he was cursed forever by them and no longer a Jew. Spinoza wasn’t venting his disgust here, more just sighing at the religious lunacy. There was no secular Jewish ethnicity then.

Zionists do no believe Palestinians exist as a nation either, they just regard them as “the Palestinian problem.”

Or Israel is committing genocide and their leader is wanted by the ICC and we’re giving substantial aid to them and fighting a war for them.

Considering the president of the United States and the nonstop lying on Fox and the NYP, I find it very hard to believe that these libs did a lot of damage to collective intelligence, relatively speaking

They’re more fun than video games when you are a kid, basically crack

People generally become professional poker players because their hourly expectation exceeds the money they make at a regular job. Otherwise they would work a day job since it is much less stressful and has no variance
Replying to @ulylelelysse @Nbtoma
I’m not interested in supervising slaves but the point is that capitalism pays these jobs, if done professionally, better than it pays labor
Do you know why?

Anatolians largely converted to Islam just like they largely converted to Christianity before that, abandoning and smashing Greek paganism and the ethnic identity of Greek (which, like Jew, was solely identified with a religion then) until the Greek identity was revived in 19th C

So he signed a letter in support of the Egyptian faction that supports…democracy and won the only democratic election in Egypt’s history as opposed to the faction that supports massacring protestors by the boatload and raping and torturing dissidents?

And if I can make more than an hour playing poker or engaging in financial speculation or supervising slaves?
