Elon has throttled @twitter.

Sometimes you just have to go large! Yes! We’ve built using Hestons, hence the John Deere in the background! #strawbale #buildwithcarbon

You’re doing pretty well!

😍 Great to have been involved with this amazing project! Fab design by @Agile_DesignUK with #RammedEarth, stunning #glulam curved roof, holding up an intensive green roof that reflects the landscape of the Clumps. Why straw? It’s a truly #circulareconomy, renewable material! 🌾

Checkout @agile_homes as well all straw and timber. youtu.be/_7mdqM6Wz2o

Here’s a video of a test we carried out in 2009. It’s a prefab ModCell panel with glulam timber as the structural frame, rendered with lime to the inner & outer faces applied directly to the #strawbale. It shows how straw protects & insulates! 🌾🏡🔥🚒👍 youtu.be/D1iSxY24bb4

Great to see your results! Geekery is good! Here’s one of our geekier moments: A CT scan of a bale to determine if strand orientation exists in #strawbales. It doesn’t really! Part of our work with Pete Walker & Andy Shea @UniofBath & @OliverProgetic to #PHI Component Certify.🌾

Built @UniofBath re-using panels from the House That Kevin Built for @Kevin_McCloud with @BBMarchitects. We moved it again to another site on campus where it’s now one of UOB’s estates offices. So, used to make 3 projects on 3 sites. Pretty preFAB! modcell.com/news/balehaus-at…
