This morning the vet helped my darling little Benji go over the 🌈 bridge 💔 we was 16 and his heart murmur was much worse and he was struggling badly with his breathing. Our hearts are completely broken, we are bereft 😭💔

Mama asks if you can share and consider this please. She suffers and finds it difficult when people say ‘but you look so well’ These are the days she can get out the house and reason we have to cancel attending Posse walks at the last minute. She says I am a huge comfort.

They have pulled their children out of the 1st school already, because the security team found the school run ‘difficult for their vehicles to stay in convoy.’
A convoy? to take them to school? How utterly bloody ridiculous. Drama all the time. 🙄

Your reminder that people who volunteer for the RNLI are heroes.

Someone told me to buy Christmas Cards from RNLI.
I just looked in and they have some nice ones. All profit goes to them.

I’m of the view that a not for profit service designed to stop human beings from drowning at sea should probably be available to all human beings who are drowning at sea, not just ones holding a sign that says ‘I’m white and luckier than most, please proceed’.
'Do you want to raise funds for what is now turning into a taxi service?'

Since its foundation in 1824 the bravery of Royal National Lifeboat Institution volunteers has saved more than 146,700 lives at sea.
Hundreds of those volunteers have died attempting to save others. They are the best of us.
Any person or organisation questioning their actions or loyalty to this country should be corrected and ostracised.
Anyone can drown, but no one should.

Was really looking forward to lunch today at The Golden Lion in Brixham with family. I’d heard lots of good things about it, so I was quite excited.
We’d booked a table for eight set for today over a week ago. There were young children in the party so you’re relieved when you have a place booked.
Then, last minute, they CANCELLED us.
Apparently we hadn’t followed a procedure sent by text. A text that never arrived.
The booking was made by phone an over a week earlier. Nobody mentioned that process then.
The day before they suddenly wanted bank details not over the phone, only via text instructions that we never received.
We said, politely, that cancelling an eight-person family booking at the last minute with kids involved was unprofessional and not good customer service as well as not being fair.
What we got on the phone was not an apology. It was a barrage of abuse and expletives. One of the owners, Jay or Alex, called my sister-in-law a “thick c**nt” and told her not to come back.
She was in floods of tears. Completely shaken by the way she was spoken to which was inappropriate and revolting.
That is out of order.
If you can’t deal with customers, you shouldn’t be in the hospitality trade. And if you use foul, abusive language like that to a customer, it is completely unacceptable.
A last-minute cancellation of a family table of eight is bad enough. Speaking to someone like that is completely unacceptable. There is no excuse.
A good pub sorts a booking problem. It doesn’t swear at the customer and tell them never to come back.
We’re posting this so people know how this venue handled it. A pub should not get away with calling a customer a thick c**nt.
PLEASE MAKE THE GOLDEN LION IN BRIXHAM FAMOUS!!!
If you think that’s unacceptable, share this.

Glasgow, you did it. When the Commonwealth Games needed a home, you stepped up. You may have saved the Games, and I’m honoured to have been a small part of it.
Opening Ceremony, Closing Ceremony, and gymnastics in between. A dream job I’ll never forget.
Thank you, Scotland 🏴.

It's stunning, but not surprising, that after 6 years of disruption, disrespect & gripes about the Royal Family, it is the King who is being criticised for not caving to his son's 11th hour demands. Buckingham Palace is the seat of the British Monarchy. It is not the Holiday Inn.
