FBR’s sudden increase in customs values of older phones just months after reducing them raises serious questions. This appears to be a deliberate attempt to mislead and undermine the parliamentary committee’s efforts on PTA tax relief. By inflating valuations they are effectively neutralizing any reduction in PTA taxes before it even reaches the public.
Such tactics may serve short term bureaucratic interests but they come at the cost of transparency and public trust. Parliament will not be bypassed. When the budget is presented the will of the people will be asserted and InshaAllah meaningful PTA tax relief will be delivered as promised. #PTATax

After my brother @ahaidergilani86 was kidnapped by Taliban, the @GovtofPunjabPK granted our family security personnel in 2013, a measure recommended by the District Security Committee, not a privilege, but a matter of safety.
