Bihar govt should follow this lead and offer projects upto say Rs 50 lakhs to IT startups with HQ in Bihar.
Support your local industry to grow and they will build the talent density that will attract the biggies.
What if your first customer was the GOVERNMENT?
With - No tenders. No complicated requirements.
You have a solution for dirty air, garbage on our streets, pollution or a problem that millions of Indians face.
You don’t have to knock on a hundred doors. The government could be your first customer.
Minister @PriyankKharge said this at TechSparks.
Think about what this could mean for a young innovator in a small town with a big idea.
Solve a real problem. Get the government to back your solution. Take it to millions of people.
Imagine the possibilities if we made this happen at scale.
Now, THAT would be a game changer. #TechSparks

🚨Bihar Cabinet approves the development of Gardanibagh Tech Park in Patna, with NBCC (India) Ltd. selected to execute the project.
The state’s first tech park aims to attract 100+ companies and create 5,000+ direct jobs, boosting Bihar’s IT/ITeS ecosystem and investment under the Bihar IT Policy 2024 and GCC Policy 2026.

This is an excellent development for Bihar. I have been arguing that if the state mandates that its data be located within the state boundaries, we will see many IT companies start to operate from Bihar.
May a hundred datacenters bloom.
#WATCH | Patna | Bihar Minister Shreyasi Singh says, "A 12-megawatt data center has been inaugurated in the Patliputra Industrial Area on BIADA land. I certainly extend my thanks and best wishes to the CtrlS Group for laying a strong foundation for Bihar's industrial development today. As the entire world moves steadily towards digitalization, Bihar, too, has now entered this arena and will continue to advance in it. The Industries Department of the Bihar Government is working with great dedication to foster industrial growth and develop industrial zones. We are actively working on initiatives ranging from data centers and the upcoming 'Centre of Excellence' for Artificial Intelligence to new methods for bringing digitalization and digital industries to the ground level in Bihar..."

I think the deptt of IT has tried to approach the top IT companies but that has not moved the needle much.
I also believe that while IT professionals can indeed advise, without financial participation and risk taking, it won't help much.
My thesis is that govt should change focus to smaller IT companies, both home grown and elsewhere and create a preferential purchase policy for them. If a hundred companies can grow to 100+ size, that is 10,000 IT jobs in the state!
Sir, you are absolutely right. But the real question is: Are the government’s efforts enough, and are they going in the right direction?
Take the IT industry meets in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Instead of limited events with little outreach, Bihar should directly approach top IT companies and their senior leaders to bring investment to the state.
Our engineering colleges also need more industry tie-ups. Colleges like MIT Muzaffarpur, GECs in Darbhanga, Samastipur, Bhagalpur, Purnea and thru out the state need MoUs with companies, internships, practical projects and campus placements.
Many IT professionals working in Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad are ready to help Bihar with their experience and ideas. The government should invite them, listen to their suggestions and involve them in building Bihar’s IT sector.
Sir, you understand these challenges better than I do, and you may know what else is missing. But we need more than events and announcements.
Bihar needs real partnerships that bring investment, skills and jobs to our youth.

As companies struggle to control costs with AI (Zoho, AirTable, Accenture), the question facing many is - are costs proportionate to benefits / productivity?
In Bihar, while the proposed AI Research Park at IIT Patna has yet to see real movement, a mid-sized (12 MW) Data centre setup by CTRL-S is creating hopes that it will attract AI companies.

Changing perception
It is truly worth every drop of sweat when you invest your energy in changing the perception of a region your home, your state, Bihar.
As Co-founder of Mithila Stack, had the opportunity to share vision, mission and the Changing Perception project with Hon’ble Minister Shri Nitish Mishra, Minister for Information Technology and Urban Development and Housing, Government of Bihar, in Patna.
There is something deeply fulfilling about seeing aspirations align when those building solutions on the ground and decision-makers come together with a shared commitment to the possibilities of Bihar. That is when dreams begin to translate into action.
At Mithila Stack, we are building AI products and technology solutions with frugal means, a talented technology team and the conviction that innovation need not be confined to metropolitan centres. Our mission is to nurture local talent, create meaningful opportunities and demonstrate that globally relevant technology solutions can emerge from Bihar, and leadership that can help navigate the journey.
When vision meets purpose, and the right conversations open doors to collaboration, hope becomes a roadmap. Bihar is not merely the place we call home. It is a place whose possibilities we are committed to help redefine.

At @MithilaStack, “Changing perception” means showing what can be built from Bihar. We’re developing AI solutions and digital products, giving local talent opportunities to build technology for businesses here and beyond.
That belief connected with #ShuruKar’s launch at APJ Abdul Kalam Science City, Patna. We joined @SharmaShradha, founder of @YourStoryCo, as she launched an initiative to help aspiring entrepreneurs find guidance, connections and the confidence to begin. Starting from Patna makes that message especially meaningful for people building here.
Our founder and seasoned technology leader Mr. Arvind Jha (@jalajboy) began this journey with a vision of a stronger ecosystem for founders and startups. @mithilaangels contributes through mentorship and access to investment in Bihar, while Mithila Stack brings its work in technology and skills. ShuruKar opens another avenue of support, and it was encouraging to be part of its beginning.

The game changers
Women’s leadership is not merely about representation, it is about having the power to make decisions, allocate resources, create employment and influence the future of institutions, also when at the decision-making table, they do not simply enter the existing system; they have the potential to transform its priorities, practices and outcomes, redefining leadership itself, making it more inclusive, collaborative and responsive to the needs of communities.
Meeting the honorable minister of Industries & Sports Shreyasi Singh jee exudes that sense of assurance and energy, thank you madam minister.
We were also honoured to welcome the Hon'ble Minister of Industries and Sports, Government of Bihar, to our Darbhanga office, soon. She was briefed with our AI products and the tech intervention we are building for Bihar. We are grateful for her time and encouragement. Being an AI-focused tech start-up from Bihar, and building low-cost software and AI solutions for the state, gives us a sense of responsibility and purpose.

What happens when your co-worker is a Cyborg, your boss is a Robot and you're the only human left on the team? Sounds futuristic!
But that was exactly the kind of question that made the session on "Leadership in the Age of Al" so thought-provoking.
We are delighted to share that Arvind Jha, Founder of Mithila Stack & Mithila Angel Network, recently visited the School of Inspired Leadership (SOIL)for an engaging session on “Leadership in the Age of AI.”
The interaction explored AI, the future of work, human–machine collaboration, leadership, and the continuing importance of human judgment, curiosity and adaptability. The conversation also touched upon Indian languages, history and heritage, bringing technology into dialogue with our rich knowledge traditions.
The future may be AI-powered, but human curiosity will continue to lead the way.

Mithila has been the cradle of Vedic Culture in India since 3000+ years. Yagnavalkya famously said "if there is a debate on dharma / adharma or there is confusion about what is as per dharma, look at what the people in Mithila do".
CSTS, a trust working for the development of culture, language, literature and traditions of Mithila have launched "DevtaPittar.com", a website that lets everyone experience the pure vedic tradition of Mithila using priests with deep sanskrit scholarship, training in tradition and spiritual reverence. The website will bring economic opportunities to the priests in Mithila and connect the traditions of Mithila to global audiences.
DevtaPittar (Gods and Ancestors) launches with option to book a puja for your family on the occasion of "Anant Chaturdashi". Do visit and experience the power of "Anant" (never ending).
