Big thanks to the #BullockMuseum for helping our 4th graders build their factual knowledge Texas in the Civil War, as well as their conceptual understanding of the causes and effects of conflict. Check out our principled inquirers!

Such a great way to close out our Who We Are Unit about beliefs and values! We did a gallery walk showcasing an item connected to a specific belief or value. 🖤 Big connections were made between our personal values and the people in our lives who influence them! @briarmeadowK_8

After learning about the rights and responsibilities of citizens in a government, 4th graders decided the best way they could take action is to share information with our community about how to participate in our upcoming election. @briarmeadowK_8 @ibpyp

It is a uniquely American experience to be an elementary school teacher who is well-practiced in talking through the aftermath of horrific school shooting with their students
