Students who disrupt the learning of others, who threaten or harass them or staff, cannot be allowed to continue to do so. Every child in that room also matters, and denying them their right to a calm safe place also massively impacts their sense of safety, belonging and inclusion.
Also on the show Thursday, @emmac_larke shares her views on how she believes school removal/isolation rooms marginalise students, watch at 6pm Thursday on @TTRadioOfficial

โ€œThis is huge for me, because if it hadnโ€™t been for my PE teacher supporting me, taking me to the local running club, I wouldnโ€™t have had a career. So itโ€™s showing people what they can achieve with sport,โ€ @Mo_Farah, National School Sport Champion of the Youth Sport Trust. He successfully launched Moโ€™s Mission earlier this year, which encourages children to be physically active for 60 minutes a day. โ€œDiabetes, obesity, mental health, we need to attack it all,โ€ Sir Mo added. theguardian.com/lifeandstyleโ€ฆ #NSSW2024 #MosMission #PE #Sport #Play

This wasnโ€™t something I expected to have to address after uploading the TikTok but unfortunately it is. It seems that women can still not kick a ball about without receiving negative comments #HerGameToo

Staff in the school where I was a headteacher did not congregate in the staff room with alcohol. Instead they went home exhausted, washed their clothes and experienced two emotions, a sense of duty and worry in case they had brought Covid home with them. How dare you!
"I don't think at any time he thought he was breaking the law... he thought just like many teachers and nurses who after a very long shift would go back to the staff room and have a quiet drink" Tory MP Michael Fabricant urges Boris Johnson to apologise bbc.in/364xut5

โ€œLife for young players is changing at a rapid rate, but football is not doing enough to keep upโ€. A long term investigation from @theipaper this summer highlighted how football is still way behind the curve when it comes to athlete well-being.
