A load of revision activities as we get closer to the Child Development exam. Creating the reproductive systems out of play-doh, Question Connect-4, Guess Who: Childhood illness addition and Question Pong (had to get some PE in there somehow!). Great work from the group! 🧠🖊️🧐

Such an amazing performance of Grease tonight! All the students and staff involved have worked so hard to pull it together, and it showed. Couldn’t stop smiling 🤩 Looking forward to next year already 👀

A session led by @MNewmanPE and myself on today’s Inset. Looking into ways to engage students in fitness activities. Loads of activities collected over the years now shared, and being put to good use 🏃‍♀️🏋️

What a great way to start the term! A week spent in the Forest of Dean with Year 7 as they got to know each other a bit more through plenty of different outdoor activities. Of course I had to join in as well! 🧗‍♀️🏹🌳

Fixtures are well and truly underway @ SVS. Lots to build on over the next few weeks but some great performances shown over the past few days! Typical for the sun to come out just after we finished getting drenched this afternoon ☔️ #soakedtothebone

In September I’m picking up the Cam Nat Child Development course for the first time (Yr11 class). If anyone has any resources or top tips they would be much appreciated! 🙌

Feeling slightly overwhelmed and immensely grateful for all the thank yous I’ve received as I finish my year @nailseaschool 🥹. A school with some of the most amazing staff and students and a place I feel very lucky to say I have worked 💙. Onto the next chapter 🫡

Couldn’t have asked for better weather for curriculum enrichment week. After avoiding students trying to push me in whilst paddleboarding, I would call it a successful week! ☀️

Sept 2020: Started our teaching degree. May 2024: Attended our first school trip together as qualified teachers 🤯. Great afternoon out at Wembley, despite being a city fan ⚽️ Definite perks of the job!!

Badminton bingo 🏸A doubles focus, but 12 individual targets for students to aim for. Mixed targets, not all practical based, relevant to all roles on the courts. Students were very keen to get their names up on the whiteboard with plenty of house points being awarded. #aimhigh

Immensely proud of this lot! Worked their socks off right until the end. 🙌

Spent the majority of my rugby lesson this morning getting scratched as I tried to get the resident school cat off our playing area 🤦‍♀️. However, Sushi was adamant that he wanted to sit and watch the girls develop their defensive line #audienceapproval 🐈‍⬛

It’s been a good week for women’s football 🤩🤩

Record numbers at girls football this afternoon 🤩 must of been the sun! Great to use @The_CoachingLab cards, by far my most popular resource amongst students. It’s been great to use them in a range of invasion sports this year to work on conditioned games!
