🚨🎯 TARGET JUST BUILT A FULL ONLINE RAFFLE SYSTEM
We found a complete drawing system deployed inside Target’s live production website—and this goes way beyond one Pokémon listing. 👀
Target’s backend now supports:
🎟️ Product-specific raffle tickets
✅ Entering and leaving drawings
📅 Scheduled, active, completed and cancelled drawings
🏆 Winner selection and timed checkout windows
⏰ Expired and missed-deadline states
🛒 Purchase-complete confirmation
☝️ One item per guest
🛡️ Fraud-based ticket cancellation
🔔 Future-drawing notifications
The system uses Target accounts and session credentials, with product-specific entries running through Target’s new queue service at queues.target.com. 🔍
The code even contains customer-facing messages:
➡️ “Enter drawing”
⬅️ “Leave drawing”
🎉 “Congrats! Be sure to complete your purchase by [deadline].”
⌛ “Your purchase window has expired.”
🚫 “Limit one per guest.”
This isn’t a concept or mockup. The code is currently deployed on Target’s production website and appears substantially complete. 💻✅
⚠️ What we have NOT found is a publicly active drawing, official rules, an entry schedule or a Target announcement.
The Pokémon 30th ETB currently associated with the discovery may simply be a placeholder or internal test product.
The bigger story is that Target now has the infrastructure to sell high-demand products through account-based drawings instead of normal first-come, first-served checkout. 🎟️🔥
That could mean fewer bots 🤖, less cart crashing 💥 and an actual chance for regular collectors—if Target uses it correctly. 🙏

The 30th ETB appears staged, but Target has NOT activated or announced it yet.

Abstract failed.
I bought a @LilPudgys anyway.
Not because I think Abstract was secretly a win. It wasn’t. A lot of money, time and trust went into something that ultimately failed.
I’ve spent the last 8 months building PokeHunt
I’ve grown social to 19k+ on X, 7K on Facebook and 14K+ in Discord. I built iOS, Android and web apps, generated real revenue, broken things, rebuilt them and learned firsthand that most things you ship will not become what you imagined.
Building is brutal. But you keep building.
The hardest part isn’t starting. It’s knowing when to stop pouring resources into something that isn’t working and having the conviction to refocus on what is.
That’s what I see Luca doing.
Pudgy Penguins is still landing products in Target and Walmart, drinks in hundreds of Kung Fu Tea stores, partnerships with LINE FRIENDS, events packed with real people and an IP that exists far beyond crypto Twitter.
None of that erases what happened with Abstract.
But one failed product doesn’t automatically erase the brand, the community or the builders behind it.
So I bought Lil Pudgy #5492 as a long-term IP and mascot for PokeHunt and to support the builders still showing up.
This isn’t for a flip. Not because I expect any announcement tomorrow.
Because I’m betting that great consumer IP, relentless distribution and a founder willing to make painful decisions still matter.
