A controversial holding call in double overtime negated Florida State football’s potential game-tying score on Saturday night as FSU dropped a 43-35 heartbreaker at No. 3 Miami. FSU’s Ashton Daniels accounted for five total touchdowns.

Great effort by #FSU last night and maybe the result is different without that egregious holding call but…
• 6-11 in the last 17 games
• 12 straight road losses
• 10-21 since 2024
…ain’t good enough.
There were some good moments during Mike Norvell tenure but that run was short and it’s over. No restructuring of NIL is fixing this. #FSU
The holding call was bogus and that loss was absolutely heartbreaking for #FSU. Years ago, I would have been irate. I don’t if it’s me maturing, the current state of FSU football or just the state of modern college football in general, but last night was just whatever…
