Our thoughts are with the friends and family of actor and filmmaker, Robert Redford. A luminary with an eye for storytelling and a heart for the people who loved him, Redford's prolific contributions to the arts across mediums will continue to illuminate generations to come.

Gene Hackman has passed away at the age of 95. Gene was one of the greatest actors of his, or anyone's generation. He was a powerhouse, as adept at comedy as he was drama. Today is a very sad day, we've lost a legend. Gene was a giant of cinema. R.I.P Gene Hackman

The editing, the camera work, the writing, coming back full circle. Just cause it's only a minute doesn't mean it isn't memorable or brilliant.
No one ever says "this is a tiktok from two years ago you have to see" Disposable content. Created in 24 hours to be consumed in 24 hours and never seen again

Jim Abrahams will understandably be most remembered for Airplane and Naked Gun, but I still maintain that Top Secret is one of the most underrated comedies of all time

About corruption in Ukraine: The basic reason for the Russia-Ukraine war is not Nazis or Russian speakers or NATO or American bio-weapons labs. It is the desire of Ukrainians to free themselves from the doomed Russian conception of what a country is.
Replying to @Gerashchenko_en
Pointing out Ukraine's corruption in this war is absurd. 1. Yes. Ukraine is facing corruption. It is one of the legacies of the Soviet Union. 2. Ukraine is fighting this war to be able to distance itself from Soviet-Russian standards and introduce deep reforms. Ukraine wants to meet the standards of the European Union. It took Poland 15 years after breaking away from Moscow's zone of influence. 3. Great advocates of honesty at the same time support Russia, where the list of pathologies written on paper would reach from Moscow to Vladivostok, including killing political opponents and journalists. It is terrible hypocrisy that Ukraine is being pointed out for its poverty and negative phenomena in the system and at the same time everything is being done to prevent Ukraine from changing this.

"Thus conscience does make cowards of us all; And thus the native hue of resolution Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought, And enterprises of great pith and moment With this regard their currents turn awry, And lose the name of action."

being creative is hard because making something thats not good is painful and it takes a lot of making things that arent good in order to make something that is good and not everyone can handle that process mentally 😵‍💫
