But i can take a photo of it…
Sometimes you’ve got to forget about the entitled pricks running the country and concentrate on today.
This is something more than career politicians will ever have.

Today we arrived on the mythical island of Corvo. First nearctic bird we have seen was this Bobolink. Weather forecast looks promising for the next few days, so stay tuned!

Wild horses reintroduced to the steppe grasslands of Kazakhstan after an absence of 200 years! 👏 @AltynDala altyndala.org/press-release-…
Pair of Whooper Swans on Stainfield Fen appear to be favouring the summer at Henry Ward’s farm rather than fly to Iceland!
A visit to Connemara last week. Birding highlights were passage Whimbrels, Chough and both Summer plumaged Longtailed Duck and Great Northern Divers.😊👍

🚨🚨🚨Lectern stollen from Grade I Listed St Swithin’s Church in Baumber, Lincolnshire. Please share so people recognise it. Incredibly sad as they are still suffering following a lead theft @HeritageCrime @LincsRuralCrime @SocLincsHist @CofELincoln @ChurchesFest @NatChurchTrust

Over 4 weeks after the event there are still extensive floods to the east of Short Ferry with sincere sympathy to the farms affected. Birds, however, seen this past week have included 150 Whooper & 80 Mute Swans. 500 Golden Plover, 200 Lapwing, 40 Dublin and 7 Redshank.

CRT president and fenland farmer, Nicholas Watts, has been interested in wildlife since he was a boy, keeping a detailed diary for the last 62 years. During that time, he has recorded a downward spiral in bird numbers, and now believes there is only 10% of the birds around than when he started. It's a sad but perhaps predictable state given the state of nature in this country. Read more about his views here. thecrt.co.uk/blog/crt-presid…
Why o why is this still happening in the middle of the breeding season when we face a biodiversity crisis? 🙈🙈
Better late than never, a couple of Brambling visited the garden feeders today. First of the season, must be the return of chillier conditions?!
