Out with Bob Sheppard today checking our local Little Owl boxes. 20 boxes occupied and most with 5 or 6 eggs ! Normal clutch size is 4, but today averaged 4.8, so looks like being a bumper year. (Needs to be, as Little Owls are declining nationally)
