Is Harvard even an Ivy League university at this point?
There is no one remaining teaching Western Civilization. They have all either died or moved to other universities. None were replaced in the past decade.
James Hankins, a specialist in Renaissance thought, was one of the last holdouts.
“We have not hired with tenure a historian in a Western field—ancient, medieval, early modern, or modern—in a decade,” Hankins says about his Harvard department, which in that time “lost eight senior historians in Western fields—all major figures—through death, retirement or departure for other universities. I will be the ninth, and I am not expecting to be replaced.”

The White House is "considering an executive order that would seek to stop states from enacting & enforcing AI safety measures."
This is the wrong move--and it's unpopular.

This is the same Dan Rather that had to step down in disgrace and publicly apologize for running a bogus report to try to affect a Presidential election?
The internal CBS report determined he disregarded "fundamental journalistic principles"
Are those preferable "credentials"?
Dan Rather questions Bari Weiss’ credentials for CBS role, says hiring is ‘dark day’ for network trib.al/AiVTHW5

The senseless violence continues to amplify in our country, as witnessed now in Dallas – and, it would seem, politically motivated violence. The policy answers are not obvious, even if necessary. But also not enough. This is, at its core, a spiritual crisis. Much prayer is needed, indeed, essential. It is not irrelevant fluff, nor an excuse to simply acknowledge the tragedy and move on. Without help from above, there is no way out. To quote Erika Kirk: “Choose prayer, choose courage, choose beauty, choose adventure, choose family. Choose a life of faith. Most importantly, choose Christ.”

Imagine this: a prominent member of the U.S. Senate has a very strong record on defending the human dignity of life in the womb but also advocates for funding for Border Patrol agents to shoot people trying to enter the country illegally. Would anyone think it reasonable to honor such a senator for the senator’s pro-life record on abortion? No one who advocates for the direct, intentional killing of innocent human life should be honored. Period.

Bill Maher: "You spent your whole life talking about how government tries to do too much, which it does, and spends too much. And here you have Trump... and then the other side, you have the guy running in New York, Mamdani, who's a straight-up communist."

Dilemma for MAGA: Either there really is a grand Epstein conspiracy or there isn’t. If there is, then the administration is covering it up and can’t be trusted; if there isn’t, then the administration’s hype about it all this time was just hot air and it can’t be trusted. Ergo...
