Contraceptives are a life-changing, life-saving tool that women around the world depend on to safeguard their health, their families, and their futures. But today the Trump Administration acted to reinstate dangerous global health funding restrictions that will limit access to contraceptives and other essential reproductive health services—which evidence shows will cost women and children their lives. I have heard from women firsthand about what happens when they lose the right to decide if and when to get pregnant, and it is why I am so steadfastly committed to putting more power in the hands of more women all over the world.
