One of the best people I've had the privilege of meeting and working with in the past couple of years - sharp mind and a good human!

How to combine #socialdistancing with #movienight? We went to digitaldriveinaz.com Monday night & they did a great job going from concept to reality in just 14 days! Get tix online, QR code in at the gate & bring your own treats & drinks!
Even as more states enact "shelter in place", #schoolnutrition is appropriately viewed as Essential. I know a lot of people in @qcusd are talking about how nice it is to have the lunches, and how well the district is handling it! #stayhome ow.ly/p8YL50z2KYL
The @USDA has done a great job of quickly adapting, addressing and sharing the waivers needed by schools to accommodate the need to feed kids! Effective and efficient webinar, y'all. #serviceminded #stayhealthy #stayathome ow.ly/FWNV50z1kYj
This supports (does not prove) what I've believed about non-N95 mask use (i.e. cloth masks) - that they work best if YOU are ill to protect others. Good read, all around.
The evidence for and against cloth mask use in the general public. 🧵

"Real life" bi-partisanship shout-out to @senstabenow from @SenPatRoberts on #schoolnutrition in the Senate Ag Committee - "You've got to get together -off the floor- to get to know each other so we can work together!" Amen. #LAC2020
Great to have an engaged (and very witty) @SenPatRoberts with us at #LAC2020 - "We need to get that Nutrition reauthorization passed! It's been 10 years! Tempus is Fugiting!"
Kids say the darndest... "That whole grain thing? When you see the little yellow tag and see 16 grams of whole grain it's like I ain't gonna get that!" OK. We heard whole grain rice krispy treats ain't your fave. By a long shot. An appeal for balance. #LAC2020
Kids say the darndest... "School lunch is cool... Because I get to talk with my friends. Oh, and thank you for the Buffalo wings." LOTS of comments about the amount of time to eat - just not enough - at all. (And more spicy stuff, apparently!) #LAC2020
Kids say the darndest... "Presentation matters - I might have a good paper, but if the writing is messy I still get docked points." Validating that if it's not appealing, the kids will go elsewhere - if they can. #LAC2020
Kids say the darndest... Kid 1, "Grilled, because it's healthier, and if you could saute spinach, I'm down with that." Kid 2, "RETWEET!" Kids these days have way better palates than in my era! #LAC2020
...I'm looking forward to the #NCASFAA conference! It’s always awesome to connect with others committed to making the #StudentFinanceJourney a smooth one.

I'm headed to beautiful Hilton Head Island for #scasfaa52joy. Let’s talk about how a #StudentFirst approach removes barriers to #HigherEd.
...it's hard to imagine the #FinAid process with no paper! Here’s how D’Youville supports sustainability while improving #StudentFinancialServices. (They are also Spartans, so I'm good with them borrowing #GoGreen for this!) campuslogic.com/blog/paperle…
