🫂 to @bradzacher and the typescript-eslint team.
Some points I want to make regarding the RFC:
* The whole premise is based on .
* I believe the typescript-eslint, typescript and the oxc team is open to collaborate with the eslint team.
* It's generated by AI. There's a lot of contradicting terms and unverified claims.
* The parser is written by AI. I find the code difficult to read and understand. I worry about its conformance against test262 and TypeScript.
* The parser has a ts version AND a Rust version, they need to be kept in sync by AI.
* The Rust version is unusable in Rust. It cannot be used as a Rust crate.
The RFC 'feat: New JavaScript/TypeScript parsing toolkit' is now in the Initial Commenting phase.

People don’t rewrite languages in OCaml because once they do, they realize they should just abandon that language and use OCaml instead because it’s better than anything they’re building.

How to start debugging an infinite loop?
Just pause "at random" in devtools while looping and inspect the call stack. It might give you a lot of insight into what is happening.
You don't need a breakpoint to pause!
