Since visiting Shanghai, I dreamed we’d one day, be in a position to host large scale open lessons which involved collaborative planning and the opportunity for teachers to work together across phases and regions. Today felt significant @Abacus_NW @TheNCETM

Superb day with @Abacus_NW LLME community. Brave, consistent, open, humble, kind and honest are all words that can be used to describe this amazing group of Local Leaders of Maths Education. A great time of PD and collaboration across phases.

A terrific return visit to Lancaster Lane Primary, Leyland.
Students really engaged and enthusiastic. Uncovering the stories of men named on the Leyland War Memorial. All went off to try to find their own family stories.
Many thanks to @MetcalfeMaths and all staff and students.
Wow!! Amazing work embedding understanding of fractions in Year 2!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Two days into our Book Week and this is some of what the children have done. Tuesday is an amazing picture book and it’s really captured the children’s imagination. @LancyLane @KatieHaywood1
