It took 2 yrs but it finally came true 🙌🏾 theverge.com/2024/4/18/24134…

The Meta Quest 2 gets a permanent price cut to $199

Good price for entry-level VR.

Replying to @MetaverseDreams
Prediction #1: We will see a VR headset at $150-$200 price range this year. It might be from Meta, HTC Vive, or a stealth startup. If hand tracking improves & the headset doesn't ship with controllers, it's likely to happen. There is a large market for immersive entertainment.

Over 2 years ago, I was amazed by the results of my experiments with AI, but it seemed so distant from being a practical tool. However, in that short amount of time we've seen how quickly this technology has developed 🤯

I've been experimenting with AI generated scripts with GPT-2 (Don't have access yet to #GPT3) and the results have been hilarious. 🧵 (1/n)
