We have to keep my cast iron & steel mini stair-stepper covered at all times it’s not in use, because Mac will absolutely chew on it. It’s been 2.5 years or so of this, so I assume it’s permanent.

I owned one of those things out of sheer curiosity once. It was awful to use, especially once it punctured & thus depressurized the can! Maybe some folks exist for whom gripping like it requires (a lot! but delicately!), rotating, and not spilling is easier than a pull tab, but

Ok, final product was the oatmeal topped with parm, walnuts, smoked paprika, some dried parsley for color, and some extra virgin olive oil. I forgot finishing salt, but it’s fine without it. (I did add salt to the oats & liquid for cooking.) A++ would make & eat again.

I just had a solar energy salesman ring my doorbell and then *immediately* start pounding on my security door. After 8pm! I honestly thought a family member had shown up and needed help NOW. Then, as he was leaving, he spent a solid amount of time gunning his engine.

Does anyone know what is/could be causing these black curled up spots on the leaves of some fruit tree cuttings I am trying to propagate? I know spring isn’t the best time, but it’s when the pruning happened.
