Test, Learn, Grow, Changing Futures, Integrated Care Boards, Early Help, Troubled Families, Primary Care Networks. Isn’t all the same thing? Fragmented ministries create their own pilots that don’t start with communities. Pilot soup in a strategic vacuum. #RadicalPlaceLeadership

Thanks for the opportunity to participate in such an insightful conversation @TheHCAlliance. Listening to our communities, focusing on long term targets and the use of language will be key. @ProfDonnaHall @GeorgeFielding1 @MerronSimpson @DartmouthDawn @Gus_ODonnell @DurkaDougall
⁦@GeorgeFielding1⁩ one of our @TheHCAlliance⁩ ambassadors & panel exploring what is needed : fundamentally change the system - focus on communities. Address their real issues. Focus on #healthcreation. Sounds easy but will take active effort to make happen. #realchange

GDP is not the success measure. More being announced today. More focus including resources should go to communities rather than more of the same. Need to focus on #healthcreation Includes #wellbeing - understand & build solutions with + for people to address the real issues

⁦@ProfDonnaHall⁩: need to focus on #leadership & #place. Relinquishing power to place in a really meaningful way. Social contract with place. Permission to innovate. Learn from examples like ⁦@WiganCouncil⁩ ⁦⁦@gateshead⁩ ⁦@GM_ICP⁩ ⁦@AndyBurnhamGM⁩

Great panel ⁦@TheHCAlliance⁩ exploring now #communitychest example: dartmouthcommunitychest.co.u… Run by volunteers, in a place people & policies don’t always reach. So just created our own support for local people. Heard what people struggle with & cocreated solutions. 24/7 job

@UKHouseofLords @GusODonnell: incentives are wrong at every level of health system at present incl media. Volunteering is key but more available in affluent areas. Measurement can help drive equity. Identify what is needed for devolution & better allocation of funds to aid change
