This is a comical take. He didn't do anything on cannabis for like 30 years, including recent years where Ds controlled both houses and presidency. He receives more pharma dollars than anyone and has gotten rich while being a "public servant" his whole adult life.

People are about to find out why lots of folks in the U.S. threw shade (often privately) at Canadian operators pitching "funded capacity" and other ridiculous things (many accurately predicted in our epic "Whoa Canada" piece). When the regulatory resistance ends, we have the biggest market in the world by many standard deviations. Canada has 32 million people. Tourism is nice too. But the stocks were trading on vapor. And that's why they are all duds now. But the U.S. is 10x that, and tourism is much larger, our consumption is far more. And because of that regulatory (i.e. artificial) overhang, has caused the stocks to currently lag the much improved performance of the business. When that artificial overhand ends, things are going to move fast. And be real, not hype. Some cos are far better positioned than others. Watch those rocket. Wisdom of crowds and the like. Certain stocks are going to way overperform. IYKYK. Differentiation of internal performance is about to be laid bare because scrutiny is about to increase. By. A. Lot. the tide is about to roll out and we are going to see who is executing well. Amazing stuff to ponder over a long weekend.
