The source image for MCPEPE is the Eric B. & Rakim album cover for Paid In Full. Scrilla isolated and Pepefied Rakim for the card. The source images for PEPEONE are graffiti throw-ups by members of the RTH Crew from Statin Island. Specifically GOAL, KEVS, and OUCH (RIP). Scrilla knows all 3 artists and was given permission to use their work on the card. They are in the background in black and white. Scrilla then went over their work with his own drawing and lettering for a character he named PEPEONE. The subject of BBOYPEPE is Beat Street star Robert Taylor. The moves (head spin, sweep swipe, turtle back spin, downrocking, and track freeze) were captured by photographer Michael Ginsburg who worked behind the scenes on the production crew as the still photographer, capturing the promotional and production imagery for Orion Pictures. This is a Pepefied John Belushi (January 24, 1949 – March 5, 1982) playing John "Bluto" Blutarsky in the 1978 American comedy film National Lampoon's Animal House. He is pictured here chugging a bottle of Jack Daniels Old No. 7 Whiskey (the heart attribute). For the attack attribute the artist wrote "Dutch Courage: and added a tiny guitar headstock. This is funny because Dutch courage is slang for false confidence or bravery a person gets from drinking alcohol. In the movie a drunken Bluto walks past a fellow student playing an acoustic guitar on the stairs of the frat house. He calmly rips the guitar out of the guy's hands and proceeds to calmly smash it to bits. The card name - FRATPEPE is a reference to the fraternity the movie is based on - Delta Tau Chi (often called the Deltas or "Delta House"). Just below that is a quote uttered by Blushi in the movie - "My advice to you is to start drinking heavily." The background of the card is a stylized version of the movie poster (you can just make out the red car, two tires, and persons legs at the bottom).
