Here is an example of the concept of "hiding" a player on offense essentially making it 4-on-4. In this example the high post player is not involved in the play but because they are potentially a scoring threat a defender stands with them making it 4-on-4.

Nice BLOB from Mike White (Florida) - trail and give up a layup, go under and risk giving up a 3pt shot

X Actions can create tons of scoring possibilities. Here is a great set from Toronto head coach @jcampbell6420 that could create freedom for your players in making decisions off of cuts. Like this action? Check out another one I posted a few years ago buff.ly/2YrEnM2

Liberty runs a lot of wide offensive actions. This one starts wide and ends in floppy.

Kyle Lowry describing Raptors' defensive rotations to @kevinarnovitz, following G5:
"Play f---ing hard, send bodies, then rotate. It's not science. It's understanding the rotations, who's going, where they're going and knowing who's going to help and get out."
This is defense...attack the drive and recover. Swarming to stop the matchup. Fundamental, aggressive and filled with extra efforts. #NBAPlayoffs

Why do so many coaches quit coaching? Because coaches take constant criticism & yet many of those who are criticizing them can't find one fault in their own child! Players who commit to doing the right thing on & OFF the field are much more important to winning than coaches are!!

This was excellent indeed! 🚀

Love this late-game SLOB from the Rockets. Gets the ball to Harden and score in 3 seconds. Warriors switching all screens lets Harden get open by slipping the last screen and cutting to the ball. #XsOs @FastModel

Not everyone can do this.

I love you guys. It’s been amazing coaching this group.” -@Coach_Dawkins
