The State Department said it takes "full responsibility" for "hastily" altering and then presenting a map of Africa at a global AIDS conference that mislabeled every single country it highlighted.
An analysis by Reuters found a watermark in the map image that suggests it was made with OpenAI.

🚨Anthropic just showed a 24-minute workshop on how to actually do prompts for Claude.
Taught by the people who built it.
Free. No registration. No paywall.
I've seen $300 courses that don't cover what they teach in the first 8 minutes.
Watch it and bookmark it now.

A 1-year-old child is dead after police officers in Mississippi opened fire on a vehicle in a crowded Walmart parking lot in Senatobia. His mother, who has not been charged with any crime, says she was trying to communicate to officers that there was a baby in the car. They fired anyway, leading to the death of an innocent 1-year-old. We intend to seek justice for baby Kohen and the life that was stolen from him.

So, Graceland in Memphis and the Cool Springs Best Buy in Williamson County are in the 9th congressional district bordering Mississippi & Alabama.
But the Graceland Museum and the Cool Springs Mall are in the 5th congressional district bordering Arkansas, Missouri, & Kentucky.

Brionna Johnson was told she would have to end her pregnancy and undergo a hysterectomy. Instead, a 27-pound fibroid was removed while preserving her pregnancy and her ability to have children. Too often, Black women face limited options or are not heard. This outcome shows what is possible when patients are listened to and given real care. Equity in maternal care is not a luxury, it is a necessity.

.@DrewHill_DM writes: "Do you want to know how the Toronto Raptors spent their random bleeping Thursday in Memphis? They went to @StJude . You know, that world-renowned children’s research hospital that has treated patients from all 50 states and around the world for the last 61 years? The place where families never receive a bill, not for treatment, travel, housing, or food — so they can focus on helping their child live? Yep. That place." In 2022, Zach Randolph wrote about his love for the city of Memphis: “Listen man, Memphis is one of the most underrated cities in the country. They have so much underground talent in that city that hasn’t even been tapped yet. I know that for a fact. Memphis has so much creativity and history, just on the music side, from the blues to Isaac Hayes, to even Elvis.
There’s no denying it’s a cultural city.
But it’s a hard working town, you feel me? With blue collar, hard working people.
It has its tough spots and rough moments, but the thing that makes Memphis special is that they accept all their people. People who got knocked down and got up resilient. People who ain’t got the prettiest journey story. Bottom line is, you can be you in Memphis — you don’t have to act a certain way.
So when I got there, I felt like I fit right in.” playerstribu.ne/ZBo

Yesterday @brianglenntv and I had to change our travel plans because TSA lines were 4-5 hours long at the ATL airport and we would have missed our flights.
So we drove to Memphis because Brian had to be there today and I had to change my flight, thankfully Memphis worked for my destination.
It took us 5 1/2 hours to drive to Memphis, almost the same as TSA lines in Atlanta.
And this morning I flew out of Memphis airport and there was virtually no line in TSA.
Two totally different worlds and airport experiences.

I did not campaign for this.
I did not donate money for this.
I did not vote for this, in elections or Congress.
This is heartbreaking and tragic.
And how many more innocent will die?
What about our own military?
This is not what we thought MAGA was supposed to be.
Shame!

The Howard University College of Medicine remains fully accredited.
The recent LCME notification includes probationary, which means close monitoring, related to documentation and measurable outcomes until the 2028 review period. Our students’ degrees remain valid, and our ability to educate and graduate physicians has not changed.Â
For 158 years, we’ve advanced health equity and trained leaders in medicine. That work continues with rigor and without interruption. We are confident that the progress already achieved positions us strongly for the next review cycle.
