A detailed performance benchmark of Assassin's Creed Mirage has demonstrated the exact impact of Denuvo DRM on frame delivery. The test was conducted using an Intel Core i7 13700k processor, an RTX 5080 graphics card, 64 GB RAM, and a fast SSD drive at 1080p resolution.
Completely stripping the DRM mechanisms resulted in a 76% increase in minimum fps, climbing from 51 up to 90 fps. The critical 1% low metrics improved from 93 to 128 fps, while 0.1% low went from 74 to 105 fps. Average performance increased by 14%, growing from 162 to 186 fps across test runs.
Removing all protection code and virtualization shrunk the main executable size from 496 MB down to 102 MB.
