I might be the only person that liked the ending. Yeah the last 10-15 minutes are a bit messy and over the top with its silliness, but that last shot is truly heartbreaking. Felt like a gut punch watching Bryan lose every ounce of his humanity.

I like the Resident Evil discourse because at least nobody is accusing anyone of being pedophiles or making broad dramatic swings about entire generations or some shit. It’s pure dweebs vs. dorks. Who deserves to get stuffed into a locker more. Old time give em a swirly discourse

wherever a movie or game portrays a character acting like an actual scared human being (like bryan & grace), someone always pops up saying, “they were stupid; i would’ve done better and easily survived.” yeah, buddy. even you don’t believe that.
-Directed the first six live action adaptations of a popular game franchise
-Made these films solely to show just how much more powerful his wife was than the franchise's all iconic characters
-All six films were box office successes

he was hilarious from start to finish, but his “yeah video games!!” and “learn to climb, bitch.” were some of his lines that made me laugh the most.

My takeaway from this movie is that this is a POV of a Gamer's First Time playing a Resident Evil game. He doesn't pick up the Medical Spray in the barn, doesn't Save at a typewriter, he wastes bullets, realizes he needs a key... Yeah, I loved this movie.

seeing that Bryan reminds people of Grace from re9 and as someone who really likes grace this means A LOT to me I'm so excited to watch this

Zach Cregger should be allowed to shoot anyone who doubted him because that was EASILY the best video game movie
A clear love letter to RE gameplay while doing something totally new and delightfully disgusting. Austin Abrams is a STAR, I can't trust anyone who hates this

Milla Jovovich reacts to the Academy’s tribute to her ‘RESIDENT EVIL’ movies.
In a January interview with PEOPLE:
“I think if anyone could do that film justice, it’s Zach. He’s such a phenomenal artist, and I think it’s about time that Resident Evil got remade the right way. So I hope for the best, it’s going to be really fun to see his take on it.”

I love how the movie portrays the Umbrella scientists/workers. I saw someone say they made them look like idiots and incompetent. Uh ok? That’s literally what they are. Letting world ending threats escape every week like it’s normal, it must have utter morons in those labs.

2026 really gave us the most relatable resident evil protagonists ever i love them both so much

The first Resident Evil game back in 1996 made Capcom a Bajillion Dollars and each and every mainline release has been a multi million copy hit since 1996, it's always been the Normie Series
I’m asking all Resident Evil fans to boycott Zach Cregger’s film. We have to let these fake fans know you can’t just insult us fans by using the RE name and brand to target normies.

I want to play Resident Evil 5 with my wife but it'll be her first RE and I don't want massacring Africans to be her introduction to the series.

You can talk shit about the Resident Evil movies all you want, but you can’t take away the fact that Alice is an absolute icon. Those movies defined an entire era of video-game cinema and no amount of criticism can erase the cultural impact they had.

Don’t let them convince you that games need 7 years of development and $400 million to make🚀
Here’s Capcom cooking up all of these Resident Evil games within 9 years and probably all for less, and they’re all STELLAR experiences, and they made other games and new IP on top of those in the same period.
Greatness doesn’t need to take too much time, nor hundreds or millions. It needs passion, and creating what players love, with proper management and quality assurance😎 #REBHFun
