Message from Madhu Goud Yaskhi @MYaskhi , Chairman, All India Professionals’ Congress (AIPC) AIPC to Build a Nationwide Pro Bono Legal Support Network for Citizens Madhu Goud Yaskhi, Chairman of the All India Professionals’ Congress (AIPC), has proposed the development of a nationwide network of advocates willing to provide pro bono legal assistance to citizens facing legal cases for expressing their views on public policies, democratic issues, and matters of public interest. Many citizens hesitate to voice their opinions or participate in democratic movements due to the fear of legal action arising from their social media posts or public statements. Access to legal assistance can help ensure that such fears do not prevent citizens from exercising their constitutional rights. Through this initiative, AIPC aims to connect citizens facing genuine legal difficulties with advocates willing to represent them without charging professional fees. The proposed network will complement the work of the Congress Legal Cell, providing an additional avenue of support through experienced advocates and senior legal professionals. The objective is to strengthen access to justice and ensure that citizens facing genuine legal challenges are not left without support.
