Moving on from McCarthy was always the right thing to do. The process in finding the next guy and ultimately this guy was the problem. Which all roads lead back to the same thing…

Actually no. Not a single Cowboys fan asked for Brian Schottenheimer to be our next coach. And let’s be real. The issue wasn’t moving on from McCarthy because that needed to happen. The issue is your owners don’t value true coaching and are cheap. So alas here we are again.

Games like this are frustrating because the second Dak has a bad game, the “Dak sucks” crowd comes crawling out of hiding after being silent during the games he played well, moved the needle and won. Everything with #4 is an overreaction. Dak was bad last night, but so was the entire team. Acting like this loss was solely on him is lazy analysis. - The defense still allowed GB to drive the length of the field (GB dropped 3 TDs) -One of Dak’s two INTs came because CeeDee slipped on his route. -Dak was pressured on 60%+ of his dropbacks. -Schotty calling a rollout to the left for a right-handed QB and expecting an accurate throw across his body perfectly encapsulates the awful playcalling. You can criticize Dak’s performance without ignoring the failures around him. He deserves his share of the blame, but this was a team-wide failure, not a QB-only problem.
